SOLUBLE ALLOY FOR THERMAL FUSE, WIRE ROD FOR THERMAL FUSE, AND THERMAL FUSE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Cd-free soluble alloy which has a melting temperature of 120 to 140°C, to provide a wire rod for a thermal fuse which has a fusing temperature of 120 to 140°C, and to provide a thermal fuse which has a thermal fuse element consisting of the wire rod, and has an operating temperature of 120 to 140°C. SOLUTION: The soluble alloy for a thermal fuse comprises, by mass, 22 to 28% tin and 0.2 to 5% copper, and the balance indium with inevitable impurities. The wire rod for a thermal fuse is formed from the soluble alloy for a thermal fuse. The thermal fuse element is formed from the wire rod for a thermal fuse to compose a thermal fuse.
