PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic bleaching composition which is stable even after long-term storage and emits little foul odor. SOLUTION: The photographic bleaching composition contains at least 0.005 mol/l of a peroxy acid bleaching agent or a compound which produces or supplies a peroxy acid bleaching agent, and at least 0.00005 mol/l of a cyclic aminomethanediphosphonic acid or a salt thereof.
