PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily manufactured optical means driving device which executes stable three-direction driving, i.e., a focusing direction Fo, a tracking direction Tk, and a tilting direction Ti. SOLUTION: This optical means driving device is provided with an optical means for converging a laser beam on a disk recording medium, a holder for holding the optical means, a focusing coil, a tracking coil, a tilting coil, a pair of supports arranged on the two opposing side faces of the holder, and at least three linear elastic bodies ends of which are connected to stators arranged in rough circular arc forms in the supports. By the linear elastic bodies, the holder is supported to be moved in a focusing direction, a tracking direction, and a tilting direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
