UNDERWEAR SUITABLE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN, AND METHOD FOR EVALUATING BIOCOMPATIBILITY OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide underwear suitable for sensitive skin less irritative to the skin; and to provide a method for evaluating biocompatibility comprising easily and sensitively evaluating biocompatibility when worn. SOLUTION: The underwear suitable for sensitive skin comprises≥30 mass% of ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer-conjugated filament comprising ethylene-vinyl alcohol polymer having 30-70 mol% of the copolymerization ratio of ethylene, and other thermoplastic copolymer at a conjugated mass ratio of 10:90 to 90:10 (the former : the latter). The coefficient of variation of a mental perspiration displacement magnitude (formula 1) of the underwear is≤1 when the underwear come in contact with the skin at 30°C and relative humidity of 65% RH. In formula 1, the coefficient of variation = standard deviation of Hi/average of Hi, and Hi = mental perspiration displacement magnitude (wherein; i = 1-n). COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
