PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic and inorganic composite material which has the good moldability and flexibility of an organic material and the large specific surface area, high heat resistance, and temperature change and absorbed moisture-dimensional stability of inorganic materials, and further has excellent antibacterial and antifungal functions. SOLUTION: This organic and inorganic composite material is characterized by being obtained dispersing fine glass particles and metal compound particles having antibacterial and antifungal functions in a polyamide matrix. The organic and inorganic composite material has the good moldability and flexibility of the organic material and the high heat resistance, high dimensional stability and large specific surface area of inorganic materials, and further has good antibacterial and antifungal effects.
