PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of preventing the nonuniformity of the temperature of conditioning air from occurring. SOLUTION: This air conditioner for the vehicle comprises a cool air passage in which a heating heat exchanger is installed, a bypass passage, a conditioning air discharge passage in which hot air is mixed with cool air to provided the conditioning air and a plurality of blowing ports are formed, and an air mix door. The air mix door comprises a door part and a rotating shaft. An air flow means allowing cool air to pass therethrough when any opening part in the passages is not covered is formed near the rotating shaft of the door part. In this air conditioner for the vehicle, since cool air passes the air flow means of the air mix door, the distance thereof from the blowing ports can be secured to sufficiently mix hot air heated by the heating heat exchanger with cool air so that the temperature control of the conditioning air can be accurately performed.
