PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a low cost and adequate processing property by taking a linear expansion coefficient and thermal conductivity into consideration. SOLUTION: This inkjet head 2 comprises six piezoelectric bodies 211 consisting of PZTs and the like, and a base plate 22 supporting the piezoelectric bodies 211 bonded thereto. The base plate 22 is attached to a carriage 131 and an ink tank 12 is attached to a carriage mechanism 13. The base plate 22 is made of steatite of free-machining ceramics. Sixty four grooves 212 each being one of structural members of each of sixty four ink chambers 214 for reserving ink of an arbitrary color are formed on each of the piezoelectric bodies 211. The grooves 212 are independently formed to be arranged at intervals in a sub-scanning direction (direction X) and an upper cover 213 is bonded to an opening 2121 of each groove 212 to form the ink chamber 214.
