PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective method for assisting in removing oil from the surface of a material or a component in a continuous furnace or a batch furnace, and also to provide a device for removing the oil added to the furnace or the batch furnace so as to implement the method. SOLUTION: The device for removing the oil from the component surface is provided with a chamber with ventilation which receives a belt 31 for conveying the component, at least one air receiver 46, each having a gas burner 52 and an air blower 54 in order to evenly provide heat to the component on the belt 31, and a pilot burner 41 arranged above the component on the belt 31 for igniting an unused combustible gas in the chamber.
