PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purification apparatus which has a simple structure, is compact and easily handled, and has little danger. SOLUTION: The water purification apparatus is safe, compact and installable at any given place by using a dry cell as a power source and applying waterproof and hermetically sealing. According to the invention, the dry cell is used for the power source, and the dry cell part is hermetically sealed, thereby enabling the elution of silver ions as well as providing the water purification apparatus with no accident due to an electric shock. Furthermore, occupation of space by wiring and the accident due to an electric leak can be resolved, thus realizing the miniaturization and simplification, as a result, the usable applications can be enlarged.
