<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an elevator brake control device in order to be sufficiently arranged on a control panel of a machine-roomless elevator system. <P>SOLUTION: In this elevator brake control device, both of a first contact 3 and a second contact 4 are turned on during a forcible exitation period, and a brake voltage half-wave rectificated by a block diode 2 and applied to a brake coil 5 is a high voltage level. Thus, in a holding period, the second contact 4 is turned off and voltage drop by a partial pressure resistance 8 occurs, and the brake voltage applied to the brake coil 5 can be low voltage level. The brake voltages are lower compared to the conventional technique, an alternating current load shutdown contact having small capacity can be used for the contacts 3 and 4, not a direct current load shutdown contact. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
