<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a scanning direction of gate lines corresponding to types of usage of a reflective liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: In the case one pixel A and the other pixel B are disposed adjacent to each other on the same column, a connecting line 62, wired so as to overstride the gap between the two pixels A, B disposed adjacent to each other on the same column, has one end connected to a contact 24 for a capacitive electrode of a storage capacitor part C formed in the one pixel A and to a reflection pixel electrode 30, and has the other end intersecting a gate line 56 for the one pixel A via an insulating film in a functional film and connected to a source electrode 20 (or a drain electrode 18) of a switching element 14 formed in the other pixel B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
