PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of permanent-magnet motor wherein the resin for insulation of the stator is prevented from being broken due to the movement of winding when the magnets in a rotor are magnetized utilizing the winding of the stator. SOLUTION: In the stator of permanent-magnet motor, winding is installed on the teeth of the stator with the resin for insulation in-between. The unmagnetized magnets installed on the rotor are magnetized by this winding to obtain permanent magnets. The stator is subjected to heat treatment at about 140°to about 160°. Thus, the teeth of the rotor and the slot insulating portions of the resin for insulation can be brought into tight contact with each other without gaps. Further, the resin for insulation does not wobble against the teeth of the rotor, and thus breakage of the resin for insulation can be reduced. Thus, the insulation can be maintained between the winding and the teeth of the rotor, and withstanding failure can be reduced. In addition, the resin for insulation is prevented from dropping off while the motor is in operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
