PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control sound volume based on sound signals suitably to a user's taste. SOLUTION: A moving settable control value using range DR2 is set, as desired, for a plurality of preamplifier control values PD continuing from a desired minimum preamplifier control value PD to a desired maximum preamplifier control value PD in a preamplifier control usable value group PDS. This controls the gain so as to cancel the difference of the signal levels of external sound signals different in signal level fed via an external input type OI according to the external sound signals or within a specified range matched with the signal levels, thereby controlling the volume of external sounds based on the external sound signals in a range from a desired minimum value to a desired maximum value as desired, and thus controlling the sound volume based on the sound signals suitably to a user's taste.
