PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and useful file which can simply and surely perform a sawing work in association with the application or the removal of a sheet or the like. SOLUTION: A front cover 11 and a rear cover 12 are separated from each other. The one is formed in a bag-like state having an opening 11a at a binding base side. An extended part 21 which can be inserted into the opening 11a is provided at the other binding base side. The extended part 21 exposed at a front side is formed as a backbone 13 between the front cover 11 and the rear cover 12 in the state that this extended part 21 is inserted into the opening 11a. Binding pieces 2 are formed at the positions where the binding pieces 2 are folded at the inside of the binding base sides of both the front and rear covers 11 and 12. The sheet or the like P is bound between both the binding pieces 2 and 2. Thus, binding legs 3 are respectively arranged at both the binding pieces 2 of the rear cover 12 of the side, at which the extended part 21 is provided. A binding leg locking part 4 for locking the distal end side 31 of the binding leg 3 in the state that the distal end side 31 of the binding leg 3 is inserted into and folded at the binding piece 2 of the front cover 11 of the side, at which the bag-like is formed, is provided.
