PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a coin jam in a coin storage part of a coin dispenser. SOLUTION: This coin dispenser 1 is so structured that coins C stored, on a coin type basis, in coin storage parts 15a-15f for respective coin types are dispensed by carrying them on a carrying surface 18a along a coin dispensing carriage passage 21. Each width W of the storage parts 15a-15f in a direction perpendicular to the coin dispensing carriage direction is formed to be set larger than the diameter of the coin C stored in the corresponding one of the storage parts 15a-15f, and to be set smaller than a value obtained by adding the thickness of the coin C to the diameter of the coin C stored in the corresponding one of the storage parts 15a-15f.
