IMPACT RESISTANCE FILTER FOR PLANAR DISPLAY PANEL, AND PLANAR DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent break and scattering of glass when impact is applied to a panel display part and generation of interference fringes, and to reduce weight and thickness. SOLUTION: This impact resistance filter is provided with a first layer 1 comprising a transparent rigid material and disposed on a visible side of the planar display panel 20, a second layer 2 comprising a transparent synthetic resin with a shearing modulus of elasticity of 1×103-9×106Pa and disposed to a front glass 21 side from the first layer 1, and a third layer 3 comprising a roughened surface film with a rough surface 3a formed by distributing fine particles on the synthetic resin. The roughened face of the third is constituted to be directly closely adhered to the front glass and to keep the roughened face form in the closely adhered state to the front glass.
