PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically-operated shutter which enables a shutter curtain to be properly stopped in a fully closed position in an almost linear attitude. SOLUTION: This electrically-operated shutter is opened/closed by winding and paying out the shutter curtain 13 by means of a winding shaft 14 which is driven by an electric motor 60, so as to make the shutter curtain 13 ascend/descend. A descent regulator 17 is provided in a shutter case 11 which is provided with the winding shaft 14, and the descent of the shutter curtain 13 is regulated in the fully closed position by the descent regulator 17, so that a rotational load of the electric motor 60 can be increased for the stop of the electric motor 60. Thus, since a descending force by the electric motor 60 does not act on a slat 15 below a slat 15 wherein the descent of the shutter curtain 13 is regulated, the slat 15 does not move even in the presence of a clearance between the slat 15 and a guide rail 10, and the shutter curtain 13 can be properly stopped in the fully closed position in the almost linear attitude.
