PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote-controlled toy capable of enhancing the interest in a game by transmitting information from a movable body without affecting the structure of transmitting signals from a controller to the movable body by utilizing infrared rays. SOLUTION: A remote-controlled toy 1 comprises a controller 2 for transmitting a code signal on infrared rays according to the content of the operation of a user and a movable body 3 driven/controlled based on the code signal. The remote-controlled toy 1 also has an indicator 25 including at least one element 26 to be detected mounted within the movement range of the movable body 3, a detection device 21 mounted on the movable body 3 for detecting the element 26 to be detected, a transmission device 22 for transmitting a prescribed detection signal on radio waves in response to the detection of the element 26 to be detected by the detection device 21, and a process executing means 31 for discriminating the state of the movable body 3 based on the detection signal and executing a prescribed process based on the result of the discrimination.
