New thiadiazoles and oxadiazoles and their use as phosphodiesterase-7 inhibitors

Disclosed are compounds of formula (I), wherein: Y is O or S, R1 is optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, heterocycle, aryl or bicyclic group, and the remaining substituents are defined herein. The compounds are used in the manufacture of medicaments for the treatment of diseases mediated by a phosphodiesterase 7 (PDE7) inhibitor.
