VERTICAL DEFLECTION COIL WITH PRESS PORTIONS FORMED AT CURVE OF COIL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A vertical deflection coil and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent the coil from being deflected and reduce the weight of the coil, by forming press portions at the curve of the coil. CONSTITUTION: A vertical deflection coil(100) having a screen bent portion(110) and a neck bent portion(120) which are connected with each other through a curve(130). The curve has one or more press portions(140) formed in parallel with the bent portion. A method for manufacturing a vertical deflection coil comprises a step of supplying a coil; a step of guiding the coil supplied through guide rollers to a winding mold; a step of winding the coil between the inner and outer molds; and a step of forming one or more protrusions at the inner mold of the winding mold such that one or more press portions are formed at the curve when the coil is wound into a predetermined shape.
