<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device capable of entering the information easily and quickly into an apparatus mounted in a car. <P>SOLUTION: The input device for entering the information to the apparatus mounted in the car such as a car telephone device 3 is arranged so that a plurality of information pieces to be entered such as numerals of a telephone number are displayed around a specific part on the screen of a multiple display device 2, and an operating force is put on a switch lever 12 of an operating input device 10, and that the image of the information selected in accordance with the direction of applying the operating force is displayed highlighted, and in this condition, a pressing operating force is given to the switch lever 12, and thereby the information displayed highlighted on the screen of the multiple display device 2 is selected/decided and entered.
