FRAME TRANSFER METHOD IN NETWORK, NODE, AND FRAME TRANSFER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame transfer method for remarkably reducing a memory amount required for FDB of a node in a network, and also to provide the node.

SOLUTION: In frame transfer in the network for transferring an Ethernet (R) frame sent from a transmission origin on the network to a prescribed transmission destination, an extension tag including forwarding information to an edge node to be an exit side to a host to be the transmission destination is added to the inputted Ethernet (R) frame to attain an extension frame and the respective nodes on the network relay a data frame on the basis of the forwarding information of the added extension tag and transfer it to the edge node on the exit side.
