<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field emission type electrode in which a tape-like material including a CNT is adhered to a substrate simply and at a low cost without impairing the electron discharge characteristics of CNT and without requiring a special equipment, and provide its manufacturing method, and an equipment using the field emission type electrode. <P>SOLUTION: A tape-like material including CNT is interposed between a pair of substrates, and after pressurization, it is separated, and a tape shape peeled substance is adhered on the substrate and this is made a field emission type electrode. Furthermore, a tape-like material is interposed between a substrate and a substrate having higher ductility than the substrate, and after pressurization, it is separated, and a tape shape peeled substrate is adhered to the substrate, and this is made a field emission type electrode.
