PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a damping composition which can fully acquire practicality. SOLUTION: This damping composition incorporates an organizing agent (B) and a swelling clay mineral (C) in a thermoplastic polymer material (A). The damping composition shows, in relation between temperature and loss tangent (tanδ), a second peak of loss tangent (tanδ) that is different from a first peak of loss tangent (tanδ) arising due to the thermoplastic polymer material (A).
