摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flowmeter capable of suppressing to the utmost the influence of bubbles or turbid water, and always measuring the stable flow rate. SOLUTION: A guide member 5 is constructed between both banks of an open channel constituted of a channel wall 2, and a pair of support pipes 9 are installed horizontally movably by being guided respectively by the guide member 5, and elongated into the open channel in the vertical state. Ultrasonic flowmeters 10 are mounted on the lower end side of each support pipe 9. When the reception intensity of the ultrasonic flowmeter 10 is fluctuated, a control device 11 adjusts the propagation distance of an ultrasonic wave by moving horizontally each support pipe 9 along the guide member 5 by driving a winch 7 so that the reception intensity is adjusted to be in a prescribed range.
