PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wooden building, reducing limitation on layout in construction, and facilitating alteration of layout after construction. SOLUTION: In this wooden building 10 of multi-floor structure, a porch, a water use section (a toilet room, a utility and a bath room) are sequentially disposed adjacent to each other on one side part 10a, and a staircase K communicating the floors with each other is disposed on one axis (a-a) intersecting substantially vertically the substantial central part of one side part 10a. In each floor, a bearing wall KW is disposed at least in the direction along the axis (a-a) in the periphery of the staircase K, and beam materials G respectively connected to the bearing wall KW are disposed extending in the direction substantially along the axis (a-a) to the side part. Outside of the wall MW constituting the porch, the toilet room, the utility and the bathroom, the inner wall except the bearing wall KW is all composed of partition walls PW.
