PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coping device having such safety that prevents it from being blown off by strong wind, having sense of high grade, and facilitating construction. SOLUTION: This coping device is constituted by fixing a holder 3 to a top part of a rising body 2 and supporting a coping on the holder 3. A decorative part 4b overhanging from the inner side of the rising body 2 to the outer side is continuously provided from a main part of the coping covering the top part of the rising body 2. A decorative rear plate is additionally provided on a lower side of the decorative part 4b. A basic part of the decorative rear plate 14 is fixed to the rising body 2 through the holder 3. A fitting part 18 fitting into a tip of the decorative part 14b of the coping 4 is formed at its tip.
