PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method where nitron is synthesized by oxidizing N-hydroxylamine in a high yield and at high regioselectivity without any problems in safety and environment. SOLUTION: In the method of synthesizing nitron by oxidizing N-hydroxylamine, oxygen is used as an oxidizing agent, and oxidization is performed in the presence of manganese dioxide.
