Phenoxybenzylamine derivatives as selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors

A compound of general formula I (see below), pharmaceutically acceptable salts, solvates or polymorphs thereof are described wherein the variables are disclosed within the specification. The compound may be used in the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment or prevention of a disorder in which the regulation of monoamine transporter function is implicated. The disorder that may be treated by the above mentioned medicament include, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse disorder or sexual dysfunction. The application also discloses a process for the production of compound I and an intermediate of this compound.
