<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting diode light source unit in which a reflective surface shape having no variation in the extending direction of light emitting diode elements is realized without requiring any special extra member forming a reflector. <P>SOLUTION: In the light emitting diode light source unit comprising a printed wiring board for mounting the light emitting diode elements, a plurality of the light emitting diode elements 9 are mounted in an array on the bottom surface of a linear groove 50 made by grooving the printed wiring board P wherein the side face 52 of the groove serves as a reflective surface for reflecting light emitted from the light emitting diode element toward an object being illuminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
