PURPOSE: Provided is a device for treating garbage which is able to prevent dehydrated moisture from easily being rotten and reduce a purifying cost by filtering fine remnants contained in garbage. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a first cylinder(10) consisting of a first drainage part(15) having a first inlet(11), where garbage is put, on one end part and many perforated holes(15a) on the other end part and a first outlet(12) discharging the dehydrated garbage, a first screw(14) installed on the first cylinder and rotated by a motor(13), a second cylinder(20) consisting of a second drainage part(25) having a second inlet(21) connected to the first drainage part on the lower end side and many perforated holes(25a) on the lower end part and an outlet(22) discharging the dehydrated remnants on the tip part thereof, a second screw(24) equipped at the inner part of the second cylinder and an operating motor(23) rotating the second screw.
