The method involves liquefying fuel vapors present in gaseous mixture (2) by a condenser (5) to collect fuel condensates. A separation between the fuel condensates and residual vapors is ensured at the output (11) of the condenser, during process of liquefaction. The residual vapors are returned at upstream of the condenser to undergo the liquefaction step again. An independent claim is also included for a system for collecting fuel mixture present in gaseous mixture.
