<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkaline accumulator having excellent impact resistance, whereby alignment can be simply carried out when welding, and internal short-circuiting is not easily caused. <P>SOLUTION: This alkaline accumulator is composed of an electrode group formed by spirally winding a positive electrode and a separator, an almost disc-like collecting plate welded to its vertical tip part, a metallic case, and a sealing plate, and is provided with an insulating ring having an outer diameter dimension smaller than the inner diameter of the metallic case and larger than the outer diameter of the electrode group in the fringe part of the collecting plate welded to the tip part of the positive electrode. An almost semicircular notch part is provided in the center part of the tip of a lead fixed to the upper surface of the collecting plate, and the valve hole of the sealing plate and the notch part are aligned and welded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
