METHOD FOR PRODUCING 5-ALKYLIDENE-2-OXAZOLIDINONES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for producing a 2-oxazolidinone, by which various derivatives are synthesized in high efficiency with reduced load to the environment even in the case of using an internal alkyne without using a catalyst and an organic solvent.

SOLUTION: A propargylamine represented by formula (1) (R1, R2and R3are the same or different and are each a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group which may contain a substituent group) is reacted with carbon dioxide in a supercritical state or under high pressure of≥1.0 MPa to produce a 5-alkylidene-2-oxazolidinone represented by formula (2) (R1, R2and R3are as shown above).
