摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input and output possible estimating system which can accurately estimate an input and output possible power of a secondary battery by properly dealing with the characteristics of the secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: The input and output possible estimating system of the secondary battery calculates an open-circuit voltage V<SB>0</SB>by an adaptive digital filter using a battery model, and estimates the input and output possible power of the secondary battery based on the calculated open-circuit voltage V<SB>0</SB>. The input and output possible estimating system includes means 5, 6 each for detecting the current I and the terminal voltage V of the secondary battery, a parameter estimating means 1 for batch estimating the parameters in a formula (number 1) by inputting the current I and the terminal voltage V to the adaptive digital filter using the battery model showing in the formula (number 1), an open-circuit voltage arithmetic means 2 for calculating the open-circuit voltage V<SB>0</SB>by using the terminal voltage V and a parameter estimated value, an input and output possible power estimating means 3 for estimating the input possible power based on the parameter estimated value and the open-circuit voltage V<SB>0</SB>, and an output possible power estimating means 4 for estimating the output possible power based on the parameter estimated value and the open-circuit voltage V<SB>0</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
