PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator fin capable of improving the propelling efficiency of a propeller.
SOLUTION: Setting angles of fins 13a placed on the reverse propeller rotational direction side (the port side if a propeller rotates to the right) are made larger than an average and setting angles of fins 13a placed on the propeller rotational direction side (the starboard side if the propeller rotates to the right) are made smaller than the average. Preferably, the more a fin placed on the reverse propeller rotational direction side becomes horizontal, the larger the setting angle is made, and the more a fin placed on the propeller rotational direction side becomes horizontal, the smaller the setting angle is made. Lengths of the fins placed on the propeller rotational direction side in the radial direction are preferably shorter than those of the fins placed on the reverse propeller rotational direction side. The number of the fins placed on the reverse propeller rotational direction side is preferably larger than the number of the fins placed on the propeller rotational direction side. It is possible to set the fins only on the reverse propeller rotational direction side and not to set on the propeller rotational direction side.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
