<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high quality aggregate by which the artificial aggregate which exhibits high strength and has suppressed bone-dry density is obtained by accelerating sintering reaction at a relatively low temperature and forming a mineral material having continuity on stable chemical components. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the artificial aggregate comprises adding a hydraulic material and a mineral material containing MgO to coal ash, then mixing them, adding water to the resulting mixture, granulating or forming, and firing the formed material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
