COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, REMOTE ACCESS SERVER DEVICE, RESOURCE MANAGEMENT METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a loss probability without increasing the number of physical link sources in a RAS device.

SOLUTION: In a RAS device 2, the number of logical link resources which are line resources with an ISP server device 3, is set more than the number of physical link resources which are line resources with terminal devices 11-15. In the RAS device 2, when a certain line transits into dormant state, only the physical link resources are released to be used by the other terminal devices 11-15while maintaining the state of connecting the logical resources, thereby reducing the loss probability without increasing the number of physical link resources.
