PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method for processing images with high speed and high accuracy using CSRBF (Compactly Supported Radial Basic Functions) method. SOLUTION: The image processing method for processing a target image includes a process (step 12) for creating function data which expresses the target image as functions using the CSRBF method, and a process (step 13) for processing the target image into a desired image using the function data created. For the creation of the function data, fast algorithm is used to create a diagonal matrix with respect to the parameter of a basis function for the CSRBF method (step 11).
