PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a highly reliable detection signal, taking an influence received form the outside into account. SOLUTION: In this angle detector wherein a magnetic flux generating member 3 is provided to be rotated together with a main shaft 2 in response to rotation of a steering of a detected object, and wherein the detection signal is output in response to the rotation of the steering by a magnetoelectric conversion element 6 for detecting a level of the magnetic flux varied by the rotation of the magnetic flux generating member 3, elastic force is imparted to the rotation of the main shaft 2 provided to surround the magnetoelectric conversion element 6 and the magnetic flux generating member 3, and a cylindrical coil spring 4 is provided to be earth-connected.
