PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine intake system silencer of an automobile capable of improving cooling efficiency of intake air while reducing sound similarly to the conventional art and having a margin of a space in an engine room. SOLUTION: In the intake system silencer of the automobile, a silencing room communicating with a duct 7 for intake on the upstream side for taking suction air and a duct 8 for intake on the downstream side for feeding suction air to the engine is formed of a closed space 5 formed of a bumper fascia 3 and a constitution wall 6 disposed on the back face of the bumper fascia 3.
