PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embedded material for a concrete slab, improved in strength, little deformed due to buoyancy in placing concrete, so that a support span of a reinforcement bar and a locking means can be enlarged to remarkably improve the workability of fitting the reinforcement bar and the locking means, and increasing the slab strength after concrete is placed. SOLUTION: This embedded material for a concrete slab is characterized in that a reinforcement material 2 is mounted along the longitudinal direction of a cylindrical body 1 made of foam synthetic resin.
