PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guard fence in which an acceleration imparted to a vehicle can be reduced, which is hardly damaged and requires no repair work with flexibly corresponding in the range of imaginary maximum load. SOLUTION: When a vehicle comes into contact with a rail member or collides therewith, the strut slants within an allowable range of the outward direction from the vehicle passage range without breakage of the strut in the imaginal maximum load.
