PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof material wherein designability, a waterproof function, a heat insulating function, an dew proofing function, etc. are formed. SOLUTION: In a metal roof material B wherein a male-female coupling structure as a hooking structure is formed at a side edge in a width direction, a backing material C to be formed on a backside is fitted in such a manner as to be inserted into the lowermost-side insertion edge 7 of the roof material B and a hooking groove 13a which is opened above the uppermost side, so that the roof material B and the backing material C can be integrated together. In the roof material A, a recessed groove 22 is formed on the backside of the backing material C, and the male-female coupling structures are formed at left and right ends.
