E-MAIL SYSTEM TO CONFIRM RECEPTION BY EXTRACTING, ANALYZING, AND STORING LOG DATA, AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An e-mail system to confirm reception and a method thereof are provided to offer a sender with the reception confirmation information such as the opening and an opening time of an e-mail by inserting a tag including a storing path of an HTML(HyperText Markup Language) object into the sending e-mail and performing the access to a storing position of an HTML object when the e-mail is opened. CONSTITUTION: A mail generating module generates/stores the e-mail by the input and the selection of the sender(10). An object generating module generates/stores the HTML object including an Internet path. A tag inserting module inserts the tag including the access path into the e-mail. An e-mail forwarding module forwards the e-mail. A reception module receives a request of the HTML object from a browser of a receiver(50). A log extracting module extracts/stores the log information including the URL(Uniform Resource Locator) and a requesting time of the receiver in a database.
