WATER SOFTENER CAPABLE OF AUTOMATICALLY REGENERATING ION EXCHANGE RESIN AND AUTOMATIC REGENERATION METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: Provided are a water softener capable of automatically regenerating ion exchange resin and an automatic regeneration method therefor which are able to automatically regenerate ion exchange resin by using a solenoid valve and a raw water pressure of raw water supplying a regeneration solution. CONSTITUTION: The water softener comprises a soft water tank(1) where a regeneration solution input part(2) connected to a two-way solenoid valve(3) is placed on the upper part and a regeneration solution discharge valve(6) is installed on the lower part, a regeneration case(7), where a regenerating agent is filled up, having a raw water inlet(10) connected to a raw water supply pipe(4) by a pipe(9) to allow the raw water to be flown in and a regeneration solution outlet(8) discharging the regeneration solution and a pipe(9') connecting between the regeneration solution outlet of the regeneration case and the solenoid valve of the soft water tank.
