MICROORGANISM BACILLUS SUBTILIS C1, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE GROWTH OF MICROCYSTIS SP. USING THE SAME TO TREAT EUTROPHICATION

PURPOSE: A microorganism Bacillus subtilis C1, and a method for controlling the growth of Microcystis sp. using the same microorganism are provided. The microorganism effectively decomposes Microcystis sp., so that Eutrophication caused by Microcystis sp. can be cheaply treated without causing environment pollution. CONSTITUTION: The microorganism Bacillus subtilis C1 (KCTC 10439BP) has the function of controlling the growth of Microcystis sp. The method for controlling the growth of Microcystis sp. comprises the steps of: (1) culturing the Bacillus subtilis C1 (KCTC 10439BP) and collecting the cultured medium; (2) inserting 0.1 to 1% (v/v) of the cultured medium into a medium for Microcystis sp.; and (3) maintaining the medium containing Microcystis sp. at 15 to 30 deg. C for 2 to 48 hours, wherein the Microcystis sp. is Microcystis aeruginosa.
