PURPOSE: A satellite broadcast system having a mobile communication function and a composite communication terminal unit are provided to allow a subscriber and a satellite broadcast manager to easily exchange desired information and prevent illegal use of a satellite broadcast by a satellite broadcast receiver. CONSTITUTION: A composite communication terminal(10) includes a satellite broadcast receiver(12) receiving a satellite broadcast signal transmitted from a satellite broadcast transmitter(24) and a mobile terminal(14) making voice communication with and transmitting/receiving data to and from the other party through a mobile communication network. A mobile communication base station(16) transmits and receives a communication signal including supplementary information related to management of subscriber information and reception of a satellite broadcast. A base station controller(18) transmits the subscriber information and supplementary information from the mobile terminal(14) to a satellite broadcast manager(20) and subscriber management information and supplementary management information from the satellite broadcast manager(20) to the mobile terminal(14). The satellite broadcast manager(20) enables a subscriber information processor(22) to check a subscriber and generate various types of supplementary management information related to reception of satellite broadcast. The subscriber information processor(22) checks the subscriber information and registers a state of viewing of a corresponding subscriber. The satellite broadcast transmitter(24) multiplexes an image/voice signal, processes it by a spread code with respect to a specific broadcast channel and transmits it to a broadcast satellite.
