PURPOSE: Provided are a kit and method for the detection of alcohol drinking using urinary 5-hydroxytryptophol as a Korean type biomarker, thereby accurately and rapidly detecting alcohol drinking of Korean. CONSTITUTION: The kit and method for the detection of alcohol drinking use urinary 5-hydroxytryptophol(5HTOL) and 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid(5HIAA) as a Korean type biomarker, wherein the Korean type biomarker shows a detected value ranged from 1.017 to 1.821% (pmol/nmol) when alcohol drinking does not performed, and a detected value ranged from 9.697 to 1.326% (pmol/nmol) when alcohol drinking is done; and the Korean type biomarker detects alcohol drinking 16 hours after drinking alcohol.
