MOBILE TERMINAL HAVING A SLIDE TYPE KEYPAD, CONCERNED WITH ALLOWING A USER TO EASILY INPUT VARIOUS TYPES OF SIGNALS

PURPOSE: A mobile terminal having a slide type keypad is provided to allow a user to easily input various types of signals by using multiple buttons formed on a two-tiered key pad having an upper and a lower portion. CONSTITUTION: An ear piece(102) outputs a sound. An LCD(104) outputs various symbols and images. A transmitter(106) transmits the sound. A mounting part(110) has a concave recess with both sides opened. A slide part(120) wholly covers the mounting part(110) or covers a part of the mounting part(110) by being mounted on the mounting part(110) and is moved laterally parallel to the front surface of a main body(100). The first key pad(110) having a plurality of key buttons is mounted at the bottom of the mounting part(110). The second keypad(122) having at least one key button is mounted at an upper surface of the slide part(120).
